During the Vital Warrior Quest day training series, you will systematically explore key elements of the Outgrow Movement Method; a body-mind framework for unmatched mobility, athleticism, resilience, and vitality. Every Quest Volume is an unique blend of mobility and movement training, self-defense & Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, breath & water training and mindset & personal leadership. Each training stands on its own and at the same time builds toward a broader path of becoming a more vital, grounded, and self-directed modern day warrior.
The Reset
You have many responsibilities and your switch is always turned on.
This is an 'off switch' from your ongoing responsibilities as a busy professional, entrepreneur and/or father. A day break from the noise, deadlines, and constant output.
Yet here we don’t escape responsibilities but rather sharpen for them.
Through hybrid movement training, breath, nature and challenge you restore/increase the energy, clarity, and focus needed to keep moving forward without depletion.

This will be the third volume of the Vital Warrior Quest series on Bonaire. It's merging new modalities with elements from earlier Vital Warrior Retreat editions hosted in Europe in 2024. Every volume (once every 8-10 weeks) has fresh elements and focus areas to the foundational modalities of this program.

Only by mastering this can we move toward unmatched levels of physical freedom, (stress) resilience, vitality and fulfillment. Each Vital Warrior Quest is a training ground for this ongoing fight.
Volume 3. Structure & Discipline
The vital warrior quest retreat training days center always around reclaiming discipline & structure; in spine, posture, attention control and a few non-negotionable daily essential vitality enhancing habits. Discipline as such becomes alignment in action instead of restriction.
Focus areas for every core modality
Mobility & Movement Training:
Every edition we focus on rebuilding and enhancing the body from the ground up. We’ll restore suppleness and resilience through the spine your body’s true structural foundation. This edition we will also dive deeper into the foot & ankle complex.
In every day training/retreat we'll explore/rehearse foundational ground-flow dynamic mobility patterns (animal movement & capoeira based) and two new static control positions; the handstand (wall or free) and dead hang variations (scalable) for both stability and resilience. We will also measure your current grip strength with a device.
Stillness & awareness meditation time: Stillness is critical yet for most men almost fully absent. During this retreat day we will explore seated and supine meditation elements to calm the mind, improve attention control and gain deeper clarity. Archery is also part of a more dynamic stillness meditation.
Self-Defense & Brazilian Jiu Jitsu:
Learn the core principles that govern every real-world encounter; awareness, distance and base. We will practice several attack scenarios, cultivating calm reflexes and confident movement under pressure. The technical BJJ focus ground position for this edition is going to be 'guard' from both top & bottom.
Breath Training & Exposure
You'll start/continue to build CO₂ tolerance and nervous-system resilience through targeted breath training, static holds, and shallow-water breath hold & spine movement application.
Includes ice-bath immersion to refine composure and control under cold stress AND outgrow deep breathing journey.
Reflection & Integration
This day retreat edition includes a new focused reflection and concluding fire ritual. Also will you choose a specific vitality related habit to start integrating daily as soon as the retreat day ends.
